Ancient Egyptian Art

Ankh (left) and Eye of Horus (right) two of the most important symbols in ancient Egypt.
Ankh
was a symbol of life and irresistible strength, given by the gods to kings.
The right
eye of the falcon head sky god Horus, known as
Eye of Ra and the symbol of the sun, and the left eye, known as Eye of Horus and regarded as the symbol of the moon, were sacred signs of protection..

Ra, or Re, is identified with Atum who originated from the early
watery chaos, Nun, and created gods, humans, and all living things.
*
Falcon-head sky god, Horus, and (according to some stories
his mother) Isis.
* Isis the wife/sister of Osiris, who magically and temporarily restored
her murdered husband to life (according to some stories by performing oral sex
on his corpse), conceived by union with him, and gave birth to Horus to avenge his father.
*
Originally worshipped as the god of the dead, Osiris was the first son of
Geb and Nut, great-grandson of Ra and heir to his throne, and the Universal Lord and
Great King of Egypt. Geb, god of earth, and Nut, goddess of
sky, were children of Shu, god of air, and his wife/sister
Tefnut whom Ra brough forth by masturbating. Osiris
was murdered by his brother Seth. Later, Horus avenged
his father and became the supreme king of Egypt, while resurrected
Osiris became the ruler of the underworld.
